Introducing Siobhan Rose ARTIST

After a break from painting Siobhan has recently picked up her paintbrush again. In the past year she has completed several commissions, particularly focusing on family portraiture and landscapes. The Collaboration Exhibition has been the perfect opportunity for Siobhan to experiment with colour, form and style in her own pieces.

Siobhan draws inspiration from nature and human form. The connection between the two is a focus for this collection. She is also a bit of a magpie, surrounding herself with “pretty things”. She particularly loves antique ceramics and you can see some of these featured in her recent work. “An old mid century mustard and teal teapot of my Mum’s inspired a retro themed collection and you can see these colours repeated in my work”. “Shades of Vladimir Tretchikoff’s iconic 1960’s paintings can also be seen in the style of the “Retro Beauty” painting”.
