Description //
Reimagined materials. Renewed purpose.
ReCreate is The Collaboration’s annual sustainable exhibition — a curated collection of art and design that transforms discarded, reclaimed, and repurposed materials into meaningful works.
Bringing together artists from across Aotearoa, this exhibition explores the intersection of creativity and conscious making. Each piece carries a story of renewal — where materials once overlooked are reworked with intention, care, and innovation.
From salvaged timber and found objects to reimagined textiles and mixed media compositions, ReCreate challenges us to reconsider value — not just in the finished work, but in the materials themselves. It invites a deeper awareness of our environmental footprint and celebrates the ingenuity of artists who choose to work sustainably.
This is an exhibition grounded in both creativity and responsibility. A space where art sparks conversation — around waste, resourcefulness, and the potential for change through thoughtful making.
Discover works that embody sustainability, storytelling, and the art of giving materials new life.
