Experience Bright & Bold 2026, a vibrant contemporary art exhibition at The Collaboration in Ngāmotu, New Plymouth.
Bright & Bold celebrates artists who embrace colour, confident mark-making, expressive form and creative freedom. Bringing together a diverse collection of original contemporary artwork, the exhibition is designed to bring energy and impact to the gallery throughout August.
Featuring original paintings, mixed media and contemporary artworks, Bright & Bold showcases the distinctive practices of artists from Taranaki and across Aotearoa New Zealand. From expressive abstraction and playful compositions to striking colour and unexpected details, each artist brings their own interpretation of what it means to be bright and bold.
Whether you’re an experienced art collector, searching for an original artwork for your home, looking for a meaningful gift, or simply seeking inspiring things to do in New Plymouth, Bright & Bold offers an opportunity to discover and connect with contemporary New Zealand art in an accessible gallery setting.
All original artworks in the exhibition are available to purchase, providing an opportunity to invest in New Zealand art while directly supporting independent artists and creative practice in Aotearoa.
