ReCreate is a curated sustainable exhibition exploring the transformation of discarded, reclaimed, and repurposed materials into meaningful works of art and design.

Bringing together artists from across Aotearoa, this exhibition invites viewers to reconsider value — not only in the finished work, but in the materials themselves. Through processes of reuse and reinvention, each piece carries a story of renewal, resourcefulness, and creative intent.

Working with recycled and found materials challenges artists to think differently — to adapt, respond, and create within the constraints and possibilities of what already exists. The result is an exhibition rich in texture, narrative, and innovation.

From salvaged timber and industrial remnants to reworked textiles and mixed media compositions, ReCreate highlights the beauty of transformation and the potential for art to lead conversations around sustainability.

ReCreate reminds us that creativity has the power to reshape how we see the world — and how we care for it.
