Our land
For the last 20 years, we have been planting trees, shrubs, natives, an orchard and established natural herbs field on our farmlet near Egmont Village Taranaki, just a few kilometers from Egmont National Park. It is a sanctuary for birds while rabbits and possums are given an eviction order. Our terraced herb field is steadily being populated with annual and perennial herbs and shrubs, much to the pleasure and liking of all the bees and beneficial insects.

Our ingredients
We grow a whole variety of annuals, perennials, shrubs, natural herbs while some botanicals are grown in the tunnel house. Some of our botanicals were hard to obtain and we take pleasure in using them and preserving the variety for the future.

Our commitment to sustainability
We recycle natures ingredients from the property either in the compost or mulch in our raised beds. Ever our rain water is harvested and stored on site. Being rural, power cuts and storm effects make us conscious of a need for self sufficient alternative cover and heating options.
