Rather than depicting specific places, they emerge intuitively, inspired by time spent in forests and the emotions it stirs. Working in acrylic I am able to embrace spontaneity and flow. Using fast, expressive movement, my process begins with uninhibited marks and colors, drawing from the immersion in my natural surroundings. As the paintings evolve, I shift from raw expression to refinement, balancing composition, values, and color relationships to bring the piece to harmony. My work invites viewers to pause, reflect, and connect—with nature, with themselves, and with emotions that words often fail to capture. The crossover of nature’s creativity and our own is evident in the calm and well being one experiences when partaking in each one. It offers a space for contemplation, hope, and personal growth. These paintings are an opportunity to find meaning—whether through a memory, a feeling, or a quiet moment of recognition.
