Undersized is a thoughtfully curated exhibition celebrating small-scale artworks that carry depth, detail, and powerful presence. Bringing together artists from across Aotearoa, this exhibition invites viewers to slow down, look closely, and reconsider the idea that impact is determined by size.
In an era of large gestures and bold statements, Undersized shifts the focus to intimacy — to the precision of mark-making, the quiet strength of composition, and the considered decisions that small formats demand. From intricate studies to bold miniature works, each piece demonstrates that constraint can spark creativity, and scale can amplify meaning.
These works are designed to be experienced up close — drawing you inward, rewarding careful attention, and revealing nuance in texture, technique, and storytelling.

The Aspiring Artists Program empowers young artists U18 to participate in an exhibition alongside emerging and established artists. A program which springboards Aspiring artists into new creative opportunities and a pathway to establishing their own creative voice.
Seeking new sponsorship for 2024 to allow accessible exhibition opportunities for our artists. We aim to keep our exhibitions as accessible as possible for our artists.
