Coral is exhibiting works from her latest collection, *Flow of Life*, featuring one large original piece, *Heart’s Delight*, alongside four *Study Sketches*: *Twilight Reverie*, *Deep Calls Deep*, *Echoes of Wonder*, and *Verdant Renewal*. The *Flow of Life* collection is inspired by Coral’s meanderings in nature across New Zealand, Japan, Taiwan, and the United States, all connected by a unifying thread—the glowing mist and vapour rising from the land. *Flow of Life* symbolises replenishment and renewal, tenderly embracing us while inviting us to linger, receive, and belong—a theme Coral continues to explore deeply. *Heart’s Delight* embodies the flourishing vitality of nature—the depth of the woods, the wonder of the vapour, and the gentle flow of water. A golden tree in the top left symbolises the burning bush, ablaze with passion yet never consumed, its fire fueled by pure delight and unyielding joy. Coral’s sketches are integral to the creative process behind her large originals. She begins by designing with pencil sketches, exploring the abstract geometry and composition of each piece. Next, she creates colour studies—Study Sketches—on small raw canvases using acrylic, soft pastel, and coloured pencils, the same mixed media she employs in her larger works. For this exhibit, these Study Sketches have been enhanced from their initial rough forms. While retaining their original raw essence, they are now refined and complete for appreciation and enjoyment. Together, they offer the audience an intimate glimpse into Coral’s creative journey, deepening their understanding of her artistic process.
