Description

Medium: Shou Sugi Ban
Size: H 595mm x H 525mm x D 40mm
Incorporating the Japanese technique of Shou Sugi Ban into my art practice (the ancient art of charring) is an analogy of my life experiences.  Primarily utilising recycled timber and scrap wood to create something entirely new which also makes the timer durable, fire, water and pest resistant.  Allowing the grain to speak for itself.
