At the heart of my sculptural practice is a desire to explore the dialogue between nature and structure, chaos and order. Through the medium of reclaimed wood, I aim to evoke forms that feel simultaneously organic and engineered—spirals, curves, and whorls that seem to grow from a single point, much like shells, trees, or galaxies. My intention is not only to create visually compelling objects, but to encourage contemplation of how form emerges from both pattern and environment. My work is not intended to be didactic. Instead, I invite interpretation—some viewers see fossils, others see sci-fi architecture, ancient relics, or objects that don’t belong to any one time or place. That ambiguity is intentional. I’m not just making objects; I’m constructing opportunities for curiosity and wonder. If a viewer stops to ask how something was made, or what it reminds them of, then I’ve succeeded in opening a space for imagination.
